A close up of a piece almost complete.

I was experimenting with a gloss photo paper and water color. I just wanted to see how the paint behaved on it. I could get some interesting effects and the paper can even tale a little scratching. I'm now just watching it to see it there are any changes in it over the years such as breakdown or lifting paint. I painted this about 5 years ago and so far it's held up.

Another water color on photo copy paper. I can really mess my hands up when I paint but I never leave the paint on my skin for very long, just a moment to hold my hand pressed down while I quickly and sloppily spread the paint around my fingers. I'm aware that some pigments are know to cause cancer so I alway read the labels.
Another water color on photo paper. I like how color can run or stay separated on the paper.

Water color on gloss photo paper. I like how it can take several washes and scratching dry layers of paint off to reveal the paint underneath.

Water color on gloss photo paper. I like how wet paint can be pulled like ink from a quill into the dry yellow paint.
Water color on gloss photo paper. This one is a bit lame, might work on it and change it because it can't go on like this.
